Inès Igelnick

Plastic arts

Exp: Consequatur placeat provident.

The practice of Zen and calligraphy has been part of Inès' life for the last 30 years.

She studied with Zen Master Taisen Deshimaru and the internationally renowned Korean painter Ung-No Lee in Paris in 1979.

She is both Zen monk and European artist, she spends her time to the initiation of the art of the line between Geneva and Paris.

She and other artists lead a permanent workshop on calligraphy right in the middle of Paris. The place is open all year and offers many activities: courses, workshops, conferences, performances and exhibitions.

The art of brush is for her as much a pictorial as a spiritual experience.
