Martine Rey and the world of vegetal lacquer

Martine has been a teacher for fifteen years at Ecole Nationale  Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art ensaama.net(School of Applied Arts and Crafts) in Paris. She works a material with which she keeps up with her way of life: the vegetal lacquer.

She is co-founder of the association "LAC" (Associated Lacquerers for Creation).

Master lacquerer, she is invited to present her work in numerous exhibitions in France, Germany and Japan.

The year 2018 will see a return to the sources. A Villa Kujoyama award winner in Kyoto, she will continue in the art of Urushi lacquer.
